Biography

The member representing the peopleof Igabi Federal Constituency of Kaduna State is one upstanding member of the House of Representatives who has remained quite visible in his role as a Nigerian Legislator.
Hon. Ibrahim Bello Rigachikun was born 7^th day of February 1966 at Rigachikun, Kaduna, in Kaduna State, the young Ibrahim attended L.E.A Primary School, Rigachikun from 1971 to 1976. He enrolled into Barewa College, Zaria in the year1977 and completed his secondary education career in 1982.

Hon. Ibrahim Bello was at the Federal School of Arts and Science, Suleja, between 1984 and 1985. Later in 1985 he gained admission into the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, first to pursue a Diploma in Sharia and Civil Law, which he successfully completed in 1988. He went back to the same institution inthe year 1997 to pursue a full degree in Law and graduated with an L.L.B. (Hons) in 2004. Also in 2004, he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos for his Bachelors of Law and succesfully obtained that in 2005.
The erudite lawyer did not stop there as he furthered his studies in the legal field by enrolling in for a Post-Garduate Diploma in Islamic Law at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2007, which was completed in 2008. Hon. Barr. Ibrahim Bello also has a Masters in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice (MLC) of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Before venturing into full-time partisan politics, Hon. Barr. Ibrahim Bello had several years of working experience in the Nigerian public service.
Between 1988 and 1989, he was an Assistant Area Court Registrar, at the Magajin Gari, Area Court, Kaduna. From 1990 to 1991, he was a Higher Registar (Nasarawa Area Court), Kaduna. He was also an Acting Higher Area Court Judge (Barnawa Area Court 1) also in Kaduna.
Hon. Ibrahim Bello was a senior Area Court Judge (Kawo Area Court), Kaduna, between 1996 and 1998. He became a principal Area Court Judge 1 (Area Court), Gadan Gayan, between 2001 and 2004. He was in 2005 promoted to be the Assistance Chief Registrar 11, (High Court of Justice), Kaduna, an office he voluntarily retired in 2009, and ventured into private legal practise and politics.
Owing to his experiences in both private and public life, Hon. Barr. Ibrahim Bello held the following positions;

• Legal Adviser of the Arewa Youth Forum, (AYF) Kaduna
• Legal Adviser of the Kaduna Football Association, while serving as the Co-ordinator, Crime Control and Prevention of the Federation of Nigeria, (CRICOF) Zone 2, (Igabi, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Giwa, Chikin, B/Gwari, Kujama) Kaduna
• Director, Miyatti Farms Limited, Kaduna, till he contested elections and bacame member of the House of Representatives, representing the good people of Igabi Federal Constituency of Kaduna State.
• A member of the PAN-AFRICAN Parliament
